Description:
We laid out a tree as if it had been felled on site and used this design to create a free form seating and table area from salvaged steel pipe, water jet cut stainless, and wood. The project addressed the issue of this campus needing a central iconic meeting point for students. I have also planted a cork oak at the origin of the sculpture that will grow into shade for the tables (this was after these photos were taken.)
